CPW can provide ECMs and TCMs for conversions, as well as perform the necessary programming to make the swap operational.
These are not performance tunes, we do not do mail order tuning, we will perform the modifications needed to the factory calibration to get the engine running so it can then be checked for any mechanical issues or fluid leaks, then be tuned by a qualified local tuner on the vehicle.
This service includes:
Loading up to date operating system from GM
Disabling the anti-theft system
Adjusting tire size/gear ratio for transmission shifting and speedometer operation
Disabling torque management
Disabling abuse mode settings
Raising Speed limiters
Enabling and/or adjusting electric fan on/off temperatures
Adjusting other tables for vehicle function such as fuel gauge settings
Adjustments for different injectors or MAF sensors (to get engine running)
Disabling DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) as necessary
We do no lock any of our programs, our base swap programming gives you the foundation to start with on your conversion. We can get your swap up and running and from there you can tweak and tune the program until you’ve achieved your desired final results. If you don’t have a local tuner to help dial in your swap, and would like to learn how to make tuning changes yourself using HP Tuners tuning software, checkout our selection of learn at home courses from The Tuning School.
