This is another example of a truck built at our facility here at Current Performance Wiring.
The customer purchased this truck with a 5.3L already in it from the factory, and was
not impressed with it. So after some consideration, decided to get a 500hp LS7 crate engine
and have it shipped to us so it could be installed in place of the under-powered 5.3L.
The truck was brought back a short time later for the addition of a Magnacharger
and Rossler built 4L80E Transmission.

The dry sump oiling system of the LS7 was retained, and the oil tank found a home
under the hood in the front passenger side corner
.

A custom engine harness was built to replace the harness from the 5.3L
to help clean up theengine bay. The original 5.3L computer was retained
and retuned to run the new engine and electric fans.

The stock crossmember was modified to fit the 4L80E trans,
and a set of Kooks 1-7/8" Long Tube Stainless Steel headers were modified to work.
